I have won "a major award!" I feel like I am starring as the Old Man in A Christmas Story (a movie based on the writing of one of my heroes, the incomparable Jean Shepherd). Yes, a major award, just like that leg lamp, only it's much cooler, totally goes with my decor and won't trigger my husband by giving off the soft glow of electric sex.

Jen at Stay-At-Home Motherdom has honored me with a Rockin' Girl Blogger award. Why? Because I rock! (Yes, I do.) And do you know why she had the privilege of awarding it to me? Because she rocks! (Yes, she does.) Thank you, Jen. You rock! Now I have a nice shiny new pink Rockin' Girl Blogger logo for my sidebar.

As a rockin' girl blogger, I have the option to pass on this major award to other rockin' girl bloggers. However, you know I don't like playing favorites; you all rock (even those of you who aren't girls and/or aren't bloggers). So, I'm going to keep my major award, hoard it in my own little blogger trophy room.

Besides The Junky's Wife, who also got an award and who also rocks, got so impatient with me for not posting about this sooner, that she went ahead and gave out more than her fair share of awards for me. You must chill, my blogging sister! Scout, you do rock, even if I didn't give you an award for how rockin' you are.
