Today my daughter and I went out for ice cream while my son was at his social skills group. She drew this picture of the two of us sitting and eating ice cream together. It took her a long time to get this just the way she wanted it. Like a true artist trying to capture the perfect vision in her mind, she drew page after page until she got it just right. I don't know which was more special, the time I shared eating ice cream with her, or having her enjoy the moment so much that she spent a good part of the afternoon immortalizing it in a crayon drawing.

Isn't this just wonderful!
The time with Mommy must have been very important to her, just look at those BIG smiles.
I know it's not the same but I keep my students in class doodlings and put them on my fridge.
btw- thejunkyswife's home got robbed yesterday and they stole her computer.
see I try not to put too much meaning into my kids drawings, but then you've seen my post right?! But this is sooooo cute, you have a lovely kid.
This would make a great, great banner for your blog. or mine if I "steal" it.
She's a happy kid.
And you are a wonderful Mother.
Peace and Love,
Scout
Have I told you lately that I'm in love with you??????????
Can't help but count those moments.
Best wishes
sooo cute, Sara is always drawing me pictures. She drew me as a mermaid and asked (on the picture) I didn't make you too skinny, did I?? (because I am a healthy girl and don't want to be too skinny! LOL)
