I recently entered a post into Daily Blog Tips Blog Project Three Contest. But I'm not only a contestant, I am also a judge. I entered the contest because I thought, "Oh, good! I'm a kick ass writer. I should enter a contest that is judged, rather than one that relies on random luck. I'll have a better shot at that $100 that I'm going to need (my apologies to my readers in recovery) to self-medicate with tiny $5 bottles of alcohol on my upcoming plane trip."

The down side is that we contestants are also judges, meaning I have to play favorites, and I hate playing favorites. But so be it. If I can't have the money (and oh, please, let me have the money), I'll tell you who ought to have it (or who should share in the spoils with me). I wanted to narrow it down to three, but I couldn't, so I picked twelve, which is at least a multiple of three. I voted for anyone who inspired me to comment, made me pause to think or laugh, or gave me useful information. And yes, I'm codependent, and I love to be loved. So, I totally gave bonus points to people (John, Johan, Juggling Frogs, Dee) who were nice enough to vote for me and/or comment on my blog. Now it's too late for the rest of you to suck up! Ha!
