Check it out! My Courageous Blogger Award took a ride on the airplane with me. Here we are setting off last week on our trip. And we're way up high. I had sweaty palms the entire flight, but we made it (and without resorting to alcohol either). I took Shawn's recommendation and read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants on the plane. (I'm going to put off telling you how I liked it until I've read all of the contest entries.)

My Daddy was a pilot. I grew up at the airport and we always had 1 or two airplanes. It was nothing for Dad to wake us up early in the morning and say "Come on, we are flying to---for breakfast!" I never relized how special that was.
Every vacation was spent at the EAA air show in Oshgosh Wis. I flew in so many storms with my Dad in small aircraft....I was always terrified but never said a thing!
I pretended to love it--I was scared the whole time.
To this day, I am afraid of flying and heights. LOL.
Oh, dang ... way to leave me hanging!! I'll take it from the fact that you did, indeed, read it that it couldn't be THAT bad. ; )
You did it! Yay.
Oh my gosh, that's so cute..seriously. You look adorable. So glad it helped!!!
Very clever taking that award with you. I should cut mine out and hang it on the wall at home. That seems to be where I need the most courage.
I'm glad you're back, though, and all in one piece. One day, we'll both catch up on our reading.
