• Farewell to the Public Side of The Junky's Wife
  My blogging BFF and soulmate The Junky's Wife has, unfortunately, had to take her blog private due to some nasty cyber-harassment. She will continue writing, but you will only be able to read it if you are invited. So, if you read and love The Junky's Wife and haven't yet been invited to join her newly private blog, drop her an email at thejunkyswife@gmail.com. (If any of her anonymous harassers are reading this, I wish you healing and peace from that toxic anger and pain.)

• Book Recommendation Contest Update
  I asked you all to recommend some plane reading, and you all came through. I have read three of the suggested books so far (The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, Happy All the Time, and Idiot Girls Action Adventure Club) and will work my way through a few more on my trip next week. The contest is now closed to any more entries (I don't have time to read more!). Whatever kept (or was likeliest to keep) me happiest and most distracted in flight will win a bookmark made by me.
• Stay tuned
  I had so much fun (and made such a great new blogging friend) when Jen from Stay-At-Home Motherdom interviewed me, that I decided to have Aphra Behn interview me as well. I have the questions (which are quite good) and will be responding to them soon. I was also tagged by The Pentacostal Pariah in a meme just before I left, so that is coming as well. (Just wanted to let you both know I haven't forgotten you!)
• Blogroll Updates
  Just before I went away on vacation, I was getting a lot of new regular readers and commenters on my blog, but I didn't get around to adding you all to my blogroll before I up and left. And I've noticed that my stats have dropped since I've been on vacation. (I know, many of you tuned out when I was on hiatus, and those of you who have tuned back in are bored, but I am here and really, I'm almost done blogging about the trip!) In any case, the stat drop has inspired me to get on the ball and share the link love by updating my blogrolls. If you don't see yourself there and think you should be, give me a holler in the comments! (Unless you are stalking The Junky's Wife, in which case, I banish you to a meditation retreat instead.)
• Oh, And I'm Way Behind...
  On a related note, I'm way, way behind on my blog reading. Apologies if I've been popping by your blogs less often to say hi to you all. Fortunately, the end of summer travel and the start of school are fast approaching!
