Ok, you all. I've been inspired by Shawn at Letters to My Daughters (whose group writing project I didn't even manage to participate in) to host a group writing project. Because I don't like to pick favorites, I'm not going to pick a winner (although we all know that The Junky's Wife would be the winner anyway), but I will post links to all the entries, which means you will earn some free publicity and some link love from me.
So, here we go. The topic is: My Happy Place. Several months ago, I wrote a post about my own happy place. Now I want to hear about yours. You can write about an actual favorite physical place or a favorite memory you go back to when you're feeling down or a fantasy place or a place in a book or movie or a place you want to go. You run with it. I want to read it.
To join, write a new post on said topic before the clock strikes 9 p.m. in New York on October 24. The post should include a link back here. Then leave me a comment telling me the location of your post, and I will post links to all the submissions on October 25.
