Hurray for vomit.

When our four children were young, we were camping on an island sleeping in one tent. We had gone to bed about eleven and was just nodding off when the 2nd youngest awoke and spewed vomit over the sleeping bag. Cleaned up the mess, caught the next few up chucks in a bowl. After a couple of hours the child settled down and fell asleep. We started to do the same when the second kid errupted. This continued through the whole night, with the last one starting just as dawn was breaking. (that was about 4:30) So we never got any sleep that night. (Nor would that be the last of sleepless nights while raising children.)

I think it's very funny now, thinking back on it. Thanks for sharing your story, it's been a long time since I remembered that and the humour of it is very uplifting.

Oh... I'm so sorry you had to deal with that! I am glad he is on the mend.
We are hoping and praying that the vomit comet doesn't come and visit here. It has been going around. Maybe with the 5 days off - 2 snow days, 1 weekend, and 1 holiday - everyone will get better and it will be gone from the school.

Get some rest.

I hope it's all cleared up now! Dealing with stomach viruses are rough! Since we homeschool, we are at home a lot and are able to avoid a lot of illnesses we might normally catch. I am absolutely miserable when any of us get the stomach bug. It goes through us like crazy!

Hope you have been able to get some rest and that your son recovers quickly!
