Crazy Viral Link Haiku

Haiku FridayMama Zen tagged me
in a viral linking scheme.
I'm haikuing it.

I hear that these schemes
are bad for Google PageRank
and I shouldn't play.

I decided that
I love Mama Zen more than
my Google PageRank.

I decided not
to tag anyone else, but
you can tag yourself.

If you play, you will have to
tag five more bloggers.

Just keep adding on
to the list. Do not replace,
just keep on adding!

Yes, we hope it will
end up being a long list!
It's really easy!

So, the (supposed)
Viral Linking benefits
(may or may not be):

One of the fastest
ways to grow Technorati
authority and

Increase your Google
PageRank fast, and attract large
volumes of traffic

And make some new friends
and build your community

This haiku is like
craft projects that turn old cans
into home decor.

Something old and dull
becomes functional and new,
yet it's far from art.

Well, up yours, Monet!
Painting cheesy smiles on cans
brings its own strange joy.

Oh....we even have smiling cans in common!!! I can't tell you how many of these we have hanging on our Christmas tree each year....I never thought about making some to use year round ;)

If I can remember...I want to start doing Haiku Friday ;)

How funny to find your Viral Link Haiku today … because I did something similar … adding a Friendship Chain after today’s Haiku at Small Reflections after being tagged by Chuck at Foster Me Up. I’ve resisted doing these every time I’ve seen them until today … and here you’ve done this and my friend Joy did the same one I did today. Weirdness!

I like the ‘craft projects’ at the end … very clever!
    Hugs and blessings,

  3. Mama Zen says:

    Wow!

    And, she loves me!

  4. Moanna says:

Perhaps it's time I check out Technorati...

  5. Shelli says:

Wow! I'm impressed! What is Technorati?

  6. Moanna says:

Ok, I've signed up on Technorati, now if I could just figure out how to copy your list with the links in tact then I'd participate in the meme.

Or did you set up all those links by hand? If you did, I'm impressed more than usual. :)

  7. Mary P Jones (MPJ) says:

Shelli, Technorati is a blog directory. You can search for blogs and posts on various topic, track who is linking to your blog and um, more stuff that I don't actually use it for... Signing up with Technorati and searching them for blogs to read was one of the first things I did as a blogger (although I forgot how I heard it was something I ought to do). It was how I found some of the bloggers I've been reading, and who have been reading me, from the start.

  8. AtomiK Kitten says:

That was really cool and, frankly, there is NO ONE I'd rather be split with than Melissa. She is awesome! :)
