Austen Does It Himself

Haiku Friday"Hey, let's go swimming!"
In his enthusiasm,
Austen tears off clothes.

He grabs his swim suit
and for the first time ever
puts it on himself.

He rushes outside,
swim trunks proudly on... Backwards.
Off we go, smiling.

    I love the look of satisfaction that they get when they realize that they can do something for themselves that we usually would help them with. It is priceless!
